My First Blog

This is my first blog. I decided to put up a blog to entertain and uplift you. Either that or because I’m narcissistic, not having entered your ultra-enlighted rank, I stand outside in the pouring rain of my ego. The real reason, actually, I figured I’d put up a blog is because some crazy shizzle happens to me all the time here in Los Angeles that you might feel sorry for me for. For example, I go into the CVS on Vermont Avenue the other day (which is a pharmacy, in case you didn’t know) and who do I run into in the parking lot do you think? None other than a bona-fide 60-year-old hooker.

 

This woman basically runs up to me and says “Excuse me Miss. You’re very beautiful. You remind me of my daughter-in-law.” So of COURSE I like her right away. “Oh, thank you!” Then she proceeds to tell me she’s not a hooker anymore. Anymore! And she asks me for cash. That’s when I notice that she’s dressed exactly like a hooker and is all dolled up in freaking hooker makeup. For a woman in her 60’s she was quite pretty. I gave her a dollar and ran away.

 

When I first moved out to LA I worked as a princess at kids parties. I’d be dressed as Cinderella and little girls would come up to me and say. “I love your movies. I watch them everyday and I have all your DVD’s.”

 

My point is that I’m admired by hookers and little girls, which is awesome. Two important demographics: The over 60 woman who sells her body for sex while also panhandling to those who aren’t her usual clientele (i.e. me), and the under 6-year old little girl. If I really thought about it I might come to the conclusion that the only reason the over 60 hooker talks to me is so she can use me for personal gain… and the little girls did so because I was dressed in glass slippers and a costume… that would hurt my self esteem though and I’d like to be admired for something more than all the money I have and the clothes I wear, so here goes my blog.
